Molecular and Translational Neuroscience
We explore the regulatory mechanisms that govern transcription and genome expression in neurons and skeletal muscles, with the ultimate goal to translate this understanding into treatments for patients with neurological and neuromuscular diseases.
Our lab employs cutting-edge technologies, which include advanced microscopy, transgenic mice, bioengineered tissue models, organs-on-chips, and genomic datasets, to unravel the intricate mechanisms underlying rare and neglected diseases.
